Hey, Where's My Car?

This app helps you remember where you parked after your car Bluetooth disconnects. The app does not run its own advertising network, analytics tracker, or data broker. Map-related data is handled by Google Maps through the Maps SDK for Android.

Only Google Maps collects map data.

What the app does

Hey, Where's My Car saves a parking spot on your phone so you can find your car later. It uses location, Bluetooth, camera, notifications, and Google Maps features for that purpose.

What this app does not do

The app does not sell your data, does not use its own ads or analytics service, and does not collect Google Maps activity itself.

What Google Maps may collect

Google says the Maps SDK for Android may collect request metadata, crash information, IP address, a Maps SDK identifier, and, depending on usage, map interaction data such as panning and zooming.

Data retention

App data stays on your device.

Hey, Where's My Car does not operate a server that stores your location, Bluetooth, camera, preference, or debug log data.

Saved parking location

Your saved parking location is retained on your device until it is replaced by a newer saved parking location or until you uninstall the app.

Car trigger and preferences

Selected car or Bluetooth trigger settings and app preferences are retained on your device until changed in the app or until you uninstall the app.

Debug logs

Debug logs are retained on your device until manually cleared, trimmed by the app's debug log limit, or until you uninstall the app.

Go directly to Google to manage or delete Maps data.
